Cathy moved to Ottawa in 2009 from Cape Town, South Africa. Her plans to travel around North America were cut short, when she met her husband, who she married not long thereafter. Ten years later and she hasn’t looked back, she proudly calls the capital city her home.
Cathy studied Organizational Psychology at the University of Cape Town before beginning her Real Estate career at Seeff Constantia. She worked in sales and the rental department gaining valuable experience before she left for Canadian shores.
Her first few years in Canada were spent as a Marketing Manager for a High Tech company which allowed her to learn valuable skills to help clients market their homes on social media and the web. Cathy strives to go above and beyond the average Real Estate Agent and her goal is to make the buying and selling process as simple as possible with unique strategies to suit each family.
Cathy is a proud Mom to two boys, loves the beach and enjoys helping people find happiness through purchasing and selling homes. Cathy truly loves what she does and it shows. Cathy often works with clients who are new to Canada or new to Ottawa, knowing all too well the obstacles they face as newcomers to a city.
Cathy was awarded “Rookie of the year” in 2016 and is consistenetly in the top 5% of Coldwell Banker Agents Worldwide. She hopes to continue to grow through client referrals and to help many families make their real estate dreams a reality in the years to come.
