Personal Profile

Candida Carey has a deep affinity for Spanish Wells, having lived on that idyllic island all her life. She knows everyone on the island and she’s familiar with all the surroundings. Her love of boating and exploring has taken her to many areas in the Eleuthera group of islands in the Central Bahamas where Spanish Wells is located. Candida attended Spanish Wells All Age School and enjoyed working at the Spanish Wells Marina and as as a beauty salon assistant. She raised two sons, who are now Spanish Wells lobster fishermen. Candida can trace her Spanish Wells roots back six generations.
